Our Cuisine
The Domain has earned an enviable reputation for the
joys of the table, a tradition lovingly maintained by our team of
chefs. We create a different
menu every night, offering classics of French cuisine as well as
lighter fare infused with seasonal and regional
flavours.
We only use the freshest ingredients, along with organically grown
herbs from our own gardens. Duck and salmon are smoked on-site. To
complement your meal an imaginative wine list offers you a great
choice of savoury “vins
de pays” and fine vintages from Bordeaux and Burgundy.
With advance notice, vegetarian and some special dietary menus can
be prepared.
Classical music or jazz in the background, candlelit ambience. Dine
by the fireside in fall or winter, look out to a pristine bay surrounded
by hills on a gorgeous spring evening. Either way, the atmosphere
is intimate, the service warm and attentive.
A selection of teas and coffee are served in our living room after
dinner. Should you want a fine cognac or a special coffee, our liqueur
trolley is never very far.
At breakfast, a bountiful scene of fresh
and dried fruits,
wholesome cereals and crisp French baguette await you. Even the croissants
are baked in our kitchen (many guests say they are the best). Hot
entrées
are prepared to order while you enjoy a cup of our own roasted coffee
or a mug of steaming hot chocolate.
Later, if you plan to ski or hike, a picnic lunch is available.
For guests who wish to relax, we offer a light midday menu on the
lakeside patio or by the fireside in the living room.
